Alessia is an afro-italian writer and film director based in the UK. She’s a BAFTA Prince William bursary recipient and recently worked on an upcoming HBO Sky TV show. Her short film The Sink, starring Emmerdale actor Bhasker Patel was funded by The National Lottery. She’s currently developing ‘Missing Frames’ a psychological thriller short film, which was shortlisted for the Barnstorm Writing competition and long listed for the Slick Films Fund competition. She was the 1st Assistant Director of Love Hides In The Open, a feature film by Brian Finucane and, acted in short film Bad Habit, winner of the Shadwell Society fund prize.
